When Multiple Sclerosis numbed her fingers, Arlene faced a challenge. Trying to grate citrus zest for recipes, a knuckle-scraper for most people, became even more awkward. It was this dilemma that gave birth to Zesto, our granular form of natural citrus peel. Arlene put her nose to the grindstone in 1994, dedicating herself to finding a replacement for fresh zest in stores. Undaunted after a fruitless search, Arlene's ingenuity led her to grating and drying tremendous amounts of zest at home.
Together, Arlene, Janis and our Zesto team have provided lemon and orange Zesto to eager customers through stores and mail order. We have heard "zestomonials" from cooks everywhere, telling us of the variety of ways they enjoy Zesto. |
